DERMA MICRO NEEDLE (DMN) INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Simply Argan Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT)

The Simply Argan Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) Set works to improve and increase the body’s natural production of collagen using a combination of micro derma rolling and Simply Argan collagen enhancing natural products.

Micro channels create collagen fibres naturally by stimulating the skin’s tissues & micro-blood vessels.  It also allows our natural oil formulations and collagen moisturiser to be delivered to the skin in an extremely effective way, producing much better results than using them alone.

Simply Argan CIT works on so many common skin issues because it effectively tackles the root cause of the problem – a lack of collagen in the skin. Young and healthy skin is invariably free of any blemishes, wrinkles or marks due to the high levels of collagen, which deteriorates with age. Because the micro needles work to increase collagen levels it effectively helps the body create new, young and perfect looking skin, without damage and without unnecessary and expensive treatments.

Simply Argan CIT treatment results in an improvement in the appearance of the skin which results from natural collagen production; capillary blood supply improvement; skin tightening; improvement in skin texture; and reduction of pore size.

With this treatment many thousands of tiny punctures to the skin result from the use of the Simply Argan Derma Micro Needle (DMN). Although this creates minute dermal trauma, it does not remove the epidermis, unlike other skin resurfacing treatments. The body then naturally starts to heal the skin and it is this healing process which results in the production of collagen and elastin.    The minimal damage to the skin results in quick healing with minimal discomfort.

In addition to stimulating collagen growth, micro needling also creates channels through which any substance applied to the skin’s surface can be absorbed more easily.  It is, after all, the skin’s job to keep things out and piercing this shield works well in breaking down that barrier for a limited time.

What this means is that any topical application actually reaches the areas it is intended for more effectively. This accurate and minimally invasive micro needle penetration through the epidermis increases absorption of the active ingredients in Simply Argan’s skincare formulations significantly.

Accordingly, the real benefit is seen when the Simply Argan DMN is used in conjunction with one of Simply Argan natural oil formulations and collagen moisturiser, as natural collagen production is combined with the benefits to the skin from these products.  This combination of treatments is what we refer to as Simply Argan CIT and is what will produce significantly better results than from micro derma rolling alone.

As a result of Simply Argan CIT, the skin becomes fuller, thus reducing the appearance of scars, lines, wrinkles and stretch marks and significantly reducing the signs of ageing.

The Simply Argan CIT treatment is an effective but cost-efficient way of improving the skin and is suitable for all skin types and tones.  Over time the treatment has laser-like results for the above conditions.

To Start: Establish a Sterile Environment

To begin, make sure you wash your hands as well as making sure that the body area you are about to treat is also clean.

Although the Simply Argan DMN is supplied sterilised it is good practice to sterilise before first use as contamination can occur when removing the DMN from the packaging.  Always sterilise before subsequent use.  You can sterilise with Milton Sterilising Tablets.

Ensure you have your chosen Simply Argan oil to massage into the treated area before and after use.  This is essential to obtain the full benefits of the DMN.  You should continue to use the oil and the Simply Argan Collagen Moisturiser in the days following treatment to further enhance results.

Method

First ensure that the DMN has been sterilised and clean your hands with Simply Argan Sanitising Spray.

We suggest that preparing the treatment area beforehand to achieve optimum results. This means applying a Simply Argan oil (eg Simply Argan Oil, Argan Night Oil or FND (Face Neck and Décolletage) Intensive Rejuvenation Oil) to the area before treatment to ensure your skin is best prepared to begin the healing process afterwards.

Using the DMN with slight pressure; roll the device back and forth four times in four directions as shown below. The treatment should not be painful and should not draw blood. You will become accustomed to how much pressure you can apply without causing any pain or discomfort.

We would recommend use of the DMN for two to three days of the week on the same area of the skin, as part of your daily routine but allowing your skin at least a couple of days of rest between treatments. The more sessions you have each week, the quicker you will see improvements.

You should replace your DMN when the needles start to blunt which will be generally after three months of continual use but this will vary dependent on the skin area treated and the frequency of use.

We do not recommend use of the DMN where more pressure is exerted resulting in drawing of blood, unless this is carried out by a trained professional under clinical conditions.

The collagen production cycles do take time and so you will notice results improve over the following weeks and months.  With some people it may take several months for a material result and it is important to stick to the programme and not to give up after a few treatments.

Skin Care After Rolling

You should apply an antibacterial gel to the area treated to protect from any possible infection (it is unlikely this will happen but it is wise to take precautions).

After about 15 minutes a Simply Argan oil should be again massaged into the treated area and we also strongly recommend using Simply Argan Collagen Moisturiser to further enhance results, after the oil has been absorbed.

It is important to continue to use one of the recommended Simply Argan oils and collagen moisturiser after use as they contain high levels of Vitamin E and this will assist in collagen production. Remember that part of the benefits of using your DMN is the boost in absorption rates of topical products. Nourishing your skin at this point can reap major benefits and ongoing use of the oil and the moisturiser in the days following treatment will significantly boost the effects of the DMN.

You may experience a slight reddening and swelling of the area after treatment. This should fade quickly but it may last for up to 48 hours. We strongly recommend either staying out of the sun for this period or using a sunscreen to protect yourself.

The treated area may peel slightly after a few days and it is important not to pick at loose skin.

Face Treatment:

Please take care when using the DMN on your face. Never use the DMN on your eyes or lips.

Care of your DMN

Unless you are disposing of your DMN after each use, when you have finished using the device, rinse it under hot running water and then sterilise with Milton Sterilising Tablets, as directed. Shake off the excess liquid and stand on a clean towel to dry.

Please do not put the device away while it is still wet.  When it is completely dry, put the DMN away where it will avoid damage.

• Abnormal Skin Disease

DO NOT USE your DMN if you are taking:

• Drugs that Cause Photosensitivity
• Blood Thinning Drugs
• Antidepressants
• Antibiotics
